Scheduled Maintenance: Database Server – MySQL
As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out upgrades to the MySQL Server on mysql11.iomart.com
From 09:00 we will be upgrading mysql11.iomart.com to MariaDB 5.5
This will be a phased upgrade throughout the day and when we carry out the work, databases may be unavailable for up to 60 seconds at various times during the upgrade.
Scheduled Maintenance: UK Route Reflector Replacement
As part of our commitment to quality and continual improvement, we will be carrying out activity within our UK network, specifically, we will be conducting hardware replacement of a Route Reflector in the core network.
What will happen?
Our network engineering team will perform this work and although we expect no interruption to service, however as with any maintenance there is an element of risk.
When will the work be carried out?
The maintenance work will begin at 22:00 (GMT) on Tuesday, 18th February and last until 03:00 (GMT) on Wednesday, 19th February.
Who will be completing the work?
Our experienced iomart network and infrastructure team will handle all the work.
Will I experience downtime?
As with any maintenance work, there is an increased risk to services, however, the network is resilient and the iomart team are not expecting interruption to services.
Customers should consider their services to be “at risk” for the entire duration of the maintenance window.
